Rancheros Tiernos con la Salsa Aparte is about to launch its second season. Also, I bought new microphones and a Zoom H2n Pro recorder, and I’m thrilled with them. Planning a second podcast with people from my city.
- Steal Like an Artist, Show Your Work and Keep Going, by Austin Kleon. Yes, I’m reading them at the same time.
- Feck Perfuction, by James Vitore.
Finished Mr. Robot and Silicon Valley, and binge-watched The Morning Show in a weekend (great, great show).
I’m rewatching Mad About You in crappy standard definition. It’s lovely anyway.
Put up an exposition in December, with my Generative Art stuff. I’m learning more about it, mostly with P5js. Here’s a collection with some pieces I do in my spare time.
I also made my first web app ever, My Favorite Thing. It took a week of learning node.js and asynchronous calls, then trying Heroku and finally landing on Firebase. I’m so happy, I felt like the first time I made bread.
Making bread again! My sourdough starter died, so I’m back to no-knead bread and enjoying it a lot. If you haven’t made bread, I highly recommend it. It’s one of the most relaxing and fulfilling things you can do at home.
